The Project-SET team has developed learning trajectories (also referred to in the literature as learning progressions) for the topics of sampling variability and regression.
These trajectories illustrate how learning of the topics should progress in a loop structure. The trajectories are aligned with both the Common Core State Standards and the GAISE report. All other Project-SET materials are subsequently aligned with the learning trajectories. These trajectories have been empirically tested in two pilot professional development programs.
